R.A.D - Read and Destroy Magazine

RAD Magazine was published between 1987 and 1995 and evolved out of BMX Action Bike. RAD quickly established itself as (arguably) the main UK Skateboard magazine of the late 80's early 90's under the editorship of Tim Leighton-Boyce.

I worked on RAD mag from October 1988 to October 1990, then I went back and designed three issues in Spring 1992.

RAD mag ran for 139 isssues with final Issue 139 coming out in June/July 1995.
