IR-ART #017-Burning Desire

This started with the frame. I made the wooden frame back in 1994 and left it out in the garden to weather for 19 years! Then I decided to burn it and then use wire wool and an abrasive wire brush to bring out the grain ridges. Finally it was sealed with a clear lacquer, then came part two, filling the frame.
I love rust and rusty things, so I decided to put rusty objects in the background with a ring of eight chrome head bathroom mirror screws arranged in a circle with a brand new Zippo lighter placed in the centre.
